SolarRoll PE 55 is a UV Curing GRP (Glass Reinforced Polyester) Laminate containing high-grade Isophthalic polyester resins, fillers and glass reinforcements which have been formulated to ensure excellent protection against corrosion, abrasion, impact and aggressive climatic environments. SolarRoll PE 55 is suitable for use on a wide range of substrates including steel, concrete, GRP, FRP, PVC glass and wood. The product is supplied on rolls and in its un-cured state is a soft, malleable, easy to use material ready for application. The material can be easily cut to any shape using knives or scissors. Once fully cured SolarRoll PE 55 also provides top-quality fire retardancy and low smoke emissions if exposed to flame. SolarRoll PE 55 is highly recommended for use as protection to all types of insulation and also as a non-metallic cladding product. Extensive testing has been carried out to confirm conformance to offshore Fire and Smoke regulations.
