Deep Corrugated Sheets are available in Aluminum, Stainless Steel and Painted Aluminum. They provide protection for insulated equipment, towers, vessels and tanks with outside diameters of 8’ or more.

There are two options available regarding the depth of the corrugated sheets. They are available in 11/4” (30mm) and 21/2” (64mm) corrugations. The 11/4” corrugations have a depth of 1/4”, and the 21/2” corrugations have a depth of 1/2”. They are available in a smooth finish, painted, or stucco embossed pattern. They are specifically designed for weather-proofing insulation on vertical tanks and vessels, as well as providing mechanical abuse protection for the insulation.

Aluminum Deep Corrugated Sheets are supplied in alloys conforming to ASTM B-209 designation, and Stainless is supplied in Type 304 or Type 316 alloy.

The back side of the sheets carries a Polysurlyn Moisture Retarder. This retarder consists of a 3 mil thickness of a co-extrusion of polyethylene and DuPont’s Surlyn®which is heat laminated to the metal jacketing. Due to its superior performance characteristics, it replaces the old standard 1 mil and 3 mil polykraft moisture retarders.
